Clare Gillies, model, voice over actress and photographer, is made for the world of performing arts. Clare combines her modeling, acting and directorial abilities to shoot fun videos for her Instagram that we love watching, particularly her cartoon voice parodies. We can’t wait to see where her career takes her! In our interview, we get an insight into her summer, which began with a trip to Costa Rica where she shot the beautiful self-portraits you can see below.
What was your perfect summers day?
I really miss Connecticut summer. Everything feels and smells so fresh. It’s hot out, but not too hot. My perfect summers day included a fresh dip, a sun nap and a cool outdoor dinner at sunset.
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
That seems impossible to narrow down! I really just love to travel in general, so I would go pretty much anywhere and call it a vacation....Maybe the south of France. I always think about it.
What's in your beach bag?
My beach bag contains: rose water, crunchy nectarines, and a book I barely get to before passing out:)
What is your favorite beauty tip?
I’m pretty minimal when it comes to products. My go-tos are calendula ointment/witch hazel for face care and fractionated coconut oil for body care.
Pool or beach? And why?
I suppose beach! The oceans and seas are so mystical. There’s nothing like the feeling of being in open water.
